[Histonet] Re:Modified ZN (Wade Fite)

I would fix cytology smears in Formalin for Modified ZN. If smears come 
fixed in alcohol, should I do the
stain? A question was forwarded to me : Tissue go through alcohol during 
processing.Is it really critical
to avoid alcohol when taking tissue sections down to water for this special 
stain? Thanks in advance
