[Histonet] pH of Roche Reaction Buffer

Hi Kelly,

We measure the pH and document after preparation. We've never had to adjust it; the pH has always fallen within Roche's defined ranges.  While the bottle of concentrate itself doesn't mention it, it is printed on the carboy container itself (provided by Roche) and it's in the user manual (page 112 on the version I just looked at). The pH of the diluted wash should be 7.4-7.8.  If it falls outside that, contact Roche.

Good Morning,
How are you pHing the reaction buffer for the Ventana Benchmark Ultra?  Roche doesn't have a published pH for diluted reaction buffer.  CAP requirement ANP.22500 states that pH must be tested when a new batch is prepared or received.  Are you testing the reaction buffer after you dilute the concentrate (ie: preparing a new batch)?
