BREAKING NEWS
I. C. Critterz
The Associated Press

Washington, D.C.- Residents of northern D.C., along with Bethesda, Silver Springs, and College Park are reporting a wave of armadillo sightings. The armadillos are allegedly covered in unusual skin lesions and missing several toes. Local zoologists are baffled, as armadillos are native to the south-central and southeastern United States and are not normally found in Maryland. While no attacks have been reported, authorities are urging residents not to approach any armadillos they might encounter.
