[Histonet] acid alcohol with immunos

Well of course it depends on what your chromogen is. But if you are using peroxidase/DAB, then acid alcohol will certainly have no effect on the immuno stain.  I have taken coverslips off peroxidase-stained slides, completely removed the hematoxylin with acid alcohol, and restained with a different nuclear stain like methyl green.  The immuno stain was unaffected.
