Just a reminder on the router upgrade this Sunday:
South Campus buildings and business VPN connections (not Juniper\Pulse VPN connections) will periodically lose connectivity to the internet and the rest of campus on Sunday, July 30th, from 12am to noon.
* Each area will likely only have about 30 minutes of downtime during the window as the connections are moved to new network equipment and tested.
* Devices may need to have ARP entries cleared or be rebooted after the change. Is there is an issue after the change window, reboot the device.
* Statically-addressed systems may need have their subnet mask corrected because the new equipment will not support systems with incorrect subnet masks. For example, If your address is 220.127.116.11, then your subnet mask should be class C ( 255.255.255.0 .) If you have left the default class B (255.255.0.0 ) subnet mask then you will probably have connectivity issues. Verifying your subnet mask and correcting it can be completed prior to the change on the 30th.
