Hello Teams,
Many of you have contacted OCR seeking the options for 'requesting a Form signature' using Florence e-Regulatory system mainly for documents like Form 1572, FDFs, PSPs where we have a separate section for signature and date or sometimes a check box to complete. We would like to share the below instructions/options that you can consider in this context.
* For requesting the form signature in Florence, you will need to convert the document to a fillable form. However, Florence does not have a fillable form builder inside of the tool at the moment. Hence you will have to convert the document as a fillable form externally (outside Florence).
* Florence is suggesting the use of Adobe for converting the document as fillable form.
* For gaining access to Adobe, users can request the Adobe Pro access which costs $115 annually (per user) through your department.
* You can also consider signing the document using Docu-sign (part 11 compliant) which costs $6.06 / envelope and then upload it to the Florence study folder.
* Florence team also mentioned that they are planning to add the pdf editor tools within Florence in their upcoming releases in 2024, however we do not have an exact date when this will be available in Florence.
