[OCRcommunications] UTSW Hospital OR Training Requirements

Dear Research Community,

Please see below for final update/clarification on the last 2 communications that were sent out. If you have already sent your request to Alicia or Ashley, the emails were forwarded appropriately.

We wanted to pass on some information about the new Operating Room (OR) Training Requirements for UTSW Hospital OR settings. In order for researchers to enter the OR, they must complete the "OR Observer Orientation Session" that is offered once a month. If anyone from a research department needs to take the session, they must email Stephanie Wright (Stephanie.Wright at utsouthwestern.edu<mailto:Stephanie.Wright at utsouthwestern.edu>) and state their name, person number, job title, and which date you are requesting based on the schedule below. She will add you to the next available session if approved. Please also feel free to contact Alicia Bosse (alicia.bosse at utsouthwestern.edu<mailto:alicia.bosse at utsouthwestern.edu>), our Ambulatory training coordinator, for questions.

The class size is 12 participants. The schedule is below:

January 10, 2023 (Tuesday)
