<html><div style='background-color:'><P>We have a simple procedure for fixation of whole human globes, that while long, seems to work well for FFPE. Immerse the eye in COPIOUS amounts of 10% buffered formalin (usually a 32oz container per globe) If possible, suspend the eye in the middle of the solution by means of string tied to the optic nerve, anchored to the top of the container. Change the formalin once daily for 3 days. Rinse in cool Tap Water for at least 1 hour, then immerse in 70% Ethanol for another 24 hours before grossing. </P>
