Hi there Histopeeps,

AI is everywhere in hiring right now — and it’s great at the administrative tasks HR teams are overloaded with. It can source, screen, sort, and speed up the early steps of the process.

But here’s the part no one is saying out loud:

AI is improving the part of hiring that was never the real problem.

In healthcare — especially in histology — the real challenge isn’t finding people.
It’s earning their trust.

Whether you’re hiring or quietly open to hearing about roles, here’s what AI can’t do:

It can’t pull someone into a conversation they weren’t planning to have.

It can’t build rapport.

It can’t protect confidentiality.

It can’t navigate the emotional side of a career move.

Here’s what AI itself says on the subject:
“I can identify qualified professionals, but I cannot initiate or sustain the human trust required to recruit them.” — AI

And here’s what I hear from both sides:

>From a hiring manager:
“We spent all this money on AI and I don’t see any more or better candidates.”

>From a candidate:
“I don’t want to put all my personal information online before I even know what the job really is.”

These are the real barriers AI can’t solve — but relationship recruiting can.
