Hi
If HIER works best for you, stay with it
It is good to do an initial comparison, imho
I find that some anti A-beta abs work better after Formic acid AR, others better after Citric acid HIER
Some anti A-beta abs also disclose intracellular APP after Citra HIER....never so after Formic acid
( eg: anti Amyloid beta 1-17 Abcam ab11132 will show amyloid plaques and intracellular APP after Citra HIER....after Formic acid AR, only amyloid plaques are seen)
Have to admit to having included Congo red (Direct red 28) occasionally....stains the smallest deposits; espec. when including fluorescence examination
Always most interested to read of your Xp, Cathy
NB: I can't open Bonnie's link so, can't comment
Best wishes
Carl
