[Histonet] Calling all Pegasus Processor users

Hi folks,
I would like hear from other users of the Leica Pegasus tissue processor. I
am wondering if drain lines blocked with paraffin has been an issue in your
lab.

It happens to us once or twice a year and we need to place a service call
to have an engineer come and replace the blocked line.

We use a xylene substitute (Clear-Rite) on our processor because it
provides far superior results for our veterinary tissues. But maybe we
should be using xylene for the cleaning reagent bottle. Not sure if that
would make a difference.

I hope other Pegasus users will take a few minutes to reach to me. 😃
