Please do not throw away your expired tissue blocks. Some of them can be very valuable for research and clinical diagnosis. If your organization's policy allows you to sell them, we will pay a fair price. If not, we can provide your lab with valuable consumables, and we will provide a contract to responsibly store or destroy the ones we cannot use releasing you from any liability. We don not need, nor do we want any patient identifiers other than the diagnosis and the cassette number. We will provide shipping labels. For many years, the courts have determined that they are your property unless the patient specifically asks for them. At the moment HIV1-2, CMV and Treponema are in very high demand.
