Hi histologists and pathologists:
1st Happy Holidays. I wish for you all a Holiday Season full of peace, serenity, and blessings.
I am not familiar with the 3D HISTOTECH P1000 Slide Scanner brand. Has anyone heard or dealt with this slide scanner? We have a few pathologists who read slides remotely 90% of the time and we are having scanning issues daily with/ partial or NO scanning of slides. This as you known, impacts Turn Around Time. We switched from a glass coverslipper to a film coverslipper due to chipped glass as well as excessive mounting media. We also addressed specks of paraffin on top of slides after QC’ing slides to blocks. We still continue to have issues. Any impute would be appreciated.
Best regards,
Akemi
