I don't have experience with the Leica printers.
We bought the Thermoscientific Slidemate AS for our histo and cyto departments. The techs love them, and they have been in use for a couple of years now. We have a service plan that replaces the print heads, which pays for itself in order to keep the qualify of the print good for barcode scanning.

Hi all,
I am looking to see if anyone here uses the Leica HistoCore PERMA S Slide printer/s in their lab? The integration with the Bond III IHC stainer makes them highly appealing to my team since it will allow us to error proof the IHC staining process. However, my finance/business folks are worried since they are guaranteed for 1 year that they will break down after that time and then we will play the replacement rodeo on our dime.
Thank you so much for your help!
