     The University of Georgia, College of Veterinary Medicine is looking for a histology technician.  Full-time, Monday through Friday 8am-5pm, benefits eligible position.  Our lab provides histology service to the UGA CVM Teaching Hospital as well as to the Athens Veterinary Diagnostic Lab and surrounding local veterinarians.  We also provide histology services for a large number of research projects within and outside the university.  We offer routine histology, a lengthy list of special stains, and a very in depth list of IHC stains for both tumor markers and infectious diseases.  The perfect candidate would have experience in either histology or vet med, but any candidate willing to learn with a good attitude and work ethic will be considered.
