[Histonet] Crusting lesions and thick cattle skin

Hi!I'm looking for recommendations for cutting FFPE blocks that contain thick cattle hide/skin and crusting lesions. What do you all use to soften this kind of tissue?  Our lab has used Millifex, fabric softener, and nair.  We read ammonia may work to rehydrate the tissue enough to get a decent section. Has anyone tried that?Thanks in advance for your help!Rhonda
