Just an idea.  Why not use SEM?  It seems like it would be so much easier.

Subject: [Histonet] MMA or Epoxy Embedding
Hi Everyone,
I am trying to embed screws in plastic (in the hopes to see breakage in the screw, etc). Right now I use specifically a mixture of methyl methacrylate, poly methyl methacrylate, and benzoyl peroxide. However this usually takes a few weeks to embed/dry. I am looking for something a little faster (perhaps a week max?).

Thank You,
Jessica
