[Histonet] Sea urchin Spines

Have you tried urine or something similar? I know that urine dissolves the spine. 



Does anyone have any tips on how to get a section of a sea urchin spine?  I tried decal but that didn't soften it at all and I tried using nair. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know
