[Histonet] RE: Cassette Labeler

Leica's IPC cassette printers are workhorses.  This is the only type I've ever had in the labs I've worked in, so I can't comment on any others.

Look at the SIideMate and PrintMate from Thermofisher. This is what we started with then intergraded into our LIS this year.

Our lab is currently looking into purchasing a cassette and slide labeler.

We are a small lab and are looking for a stand- alone unit with the flexibility to be used with the computer or bar code scanner at a later date.

I would appreciate any feedback or suggestions for any model that may fulfill our needs.
