We do not have a process that occurs at the urology office.
Our PA places a colored marker made from Histogel and marking ink into the cassettes and includes that information in the gross dictation.

Subject: [Histonet] Prostate Biopsies

Short of using a bar-coded tracking system, does anyone use "color-coded" formalin containers or cassettes for prostate biopsies (for the urology office staff) to confirm the patient's identity? Thanks.
