I tried the ink for our group and they hated it. Said it caused them problems reading????? I don't know why.

Our PA inks all prostate and breast core biopsy specimens with a different color ink and dictates the color of ink applied to the case in the gross dictation.

Short of using a bar-coded tracking system, does anyone use  "color-coded" formalin containers or cassettes for prostate biopsies (for the urology office staff) to confirm the patient's identity?  Thanks.
