As long as there is a Histotech on duty we cut, stain and coverslip all the frozens, after hours the Pathologists do their own.

We have 4 Pathologist and all four cut their own FS's. Two will stain and coverslip them themselves and two request assistance with staining and coverslipping. We label and set-up the cassette and slides.

Subject: [Histonet] Frozen Sections

Hi, I need to ask Histoland a question....How many HT departments provide assistance to the pathologist in the performance of frozen sections (cutting and staining of slides) to be evaluated by the pathologist? Thank you very much in advance!
