[Histonet] peach stone (pit) sectioning?

Hello,

I have cut small pieces of pine (wood) on the cryostat by soaking it in warm water. I had to collect the sections in a water bath so they would unfold. 
The longer you soak it, especially warm or hit water, the softer it should in theory get.
