In the state of Connecticut we can only release human tissue to a funeral home. Other than a hospital or a laboratory, a funeral home is the only company licensed to handle human tissue. The patient then deals with the funeral home.

Subject: [Histonet] specimen release

We are looking into revising our policy/release form regarding the release of specimens to patients and I am interested in knowing what others are doing.
Thanks,
Gale
