[Histonet] BBB permeability marker

Hello - does anyone have a recommendation for a marker of blood brain barrier disruption in fresh frozen cryostat sectioned tissue?  Can I postfix and  immunostain for albumin extravasation, or does albumin easily diffuse away from the vessels post-mortem?  The tissue was flash frozen in isopentane, however it was thaw-mounted onto slides before overnight dessication and refreezing.
