Hi Hans,

It is possible, though it will depend on what you want to do to the slides afterword.
The problem arises from the use of phosphotungstic or phosphmolybdic acid which is used for differentiation and mordanting in the trichrome stains like Masson's.
These are very difficult to reverse (anyone trying to restain PAP smears might know the problem). This may cause problems.
