Unfixed specimen should be done under a biological safety cabinet.

Subject: [Histonet] Non-GYN Prep Safety

Question for you all

Do you process Non-GYN specimens under a hood?
What type of precautions are taken for suspect mycobacterium specimens?
Are your ThinPrep machines under a hood as well?

Thanks in advance
