I use WD 40 and 4x4" gauze pads.

1. Squirt WD 40 using a focused spout straw directly on a small (1-2 square ft.) area of waxy floor. Apply just enough to wet only that area.

2. Wait a few seconds for the WD 40 to loosen the wax.

3. Place a short stack of (4-6) gauze pads on the near edge of the soaked area.

4. Maintain secure balance with one foot on an adjacent non-oily area while placing the ball of the other foot on the gauze stack.

5. Gradually transfer enough weight to the gauze stack to provide sufficient force to scrub off all the wax beneath the pad using alternating twisting and sliding action of the scrubbing foot. Let your weight do most of the work.

6. Depending on the amount of wax and embedded grime, you may need to periodically remove and dispose of the bottom 1-2 pads of the stack as they become clogged with dirty wax (gloves recommended), and add 1-2 clean pads to the top of the stack.

7. Finish off the cleaned area by removing all remaining WD 40 with clean gauze pad short stacks using light foot wiping action.

8. Repeat above steps on adjacent areas.
