I remember the issues in Tennessee. It would be nice if they considered the work environment for you and others. I have noticed that it seems to also depend on the organizational policies (there/where ever you), are as far as what electrical devices are permitted. When I have worked elsewhere, using a fan for drying was not an issue so long as it was checked for electrical safety.
