Subject: [Histonet] Question - OR specimens to Pathology
How are other hospitals transporting "fresh" tissue specimens from operating rooms to the Pathology Frozen Section room for an intraoperative consultation? Occasionally, we get specimens delivered on "towels" and I don't think this is appropriate. I think they should be in a container that can be sealed along with the appropriate patient identification. Thank you.
