Why are we not surprised that the "higher-ups" have the authority but little knowledge?

At least Stephanie's Bosses decisions cannot be taken as gospel for the rest of us! (ie we can ignore them)

We were told last year to remove all plants from our lab........something about contaminants.....not sure if it was FDA rule or our department rule, but we had to remove all plants and an inspection from the higher ups was done to ensure all plants had been removed.
