We use DI water in our waterbaths and have hardly problems with the adhesion
of tissue on charged slides. - this may also be an advantage, because the
counter-ions don't bind to each other. And the positive charge slide-surface
isn't saturated.

Is there a difference in using DI water vs tap water in the water bath?
