[Histonet] RE: collecting chemical waste

If you don't place a label on it before filling it, how do you know what is supposed to go in it?  We have separate waste containers for Xylene, Formalin and alcohol.

Hello histonetters,

Do you folks enforce placing a label on a waste chemical container before 
ollecting any waste or do you allow the label to be placed on the waste 
ontainer after the waste is collected?  I was taught to place the label  on the 
aste container even before the first drop of waste is collected.
