Dear all, I have been looking for a protocol for staining connective tissue
on semithin (0.5 um) araldite-embedded sections. I found at least two
protocols mentioning double staining (methylene blue/basic fuchsin) but
turns out that only their abstracts are available.
Any experience with this?
I am trying to determine whether connective tissue has invaded muscle
territory or muscle degeneration is taking place.
I know about Heidenheins's azan trichrome, but it requires paraffin
embedding (does it?) and it would be better if I could do it on the
araldite sections.
Thanks to all, Daniel
