[Histonet] deparaffinization with detergent

I have seen a few comments over the years that mention deparaffinization of slides using hot soapy water instead of xylene.  Does anyone have a reference they can direct me to where I can learn more about this or personal experience on how well it works and the logistics of making it work in the real world?
