The C-Kit CD117 antibody from Ventana now has the following FDA approval:

C-Kit has PMA FDA approval along with a companion diagnostic approval to utilize Gleevac therapy when positive for GIST tumors.

Since the cost is now very high for the antibody and since it is used for predictive therapy is there another CPT code we should be charging these? Otherwise at our current price for testing we are taking a pretty good kit. How are others handling this stain?
