In MS, it's a problem of not having anyone to fill the vacant positions. And once you find someone, that person can pretty much say the hours she/he wants and the pay b/c you have no other candidates to choose from.

Subject: [Histonet] Question to all my colleagues

Dear Colleague:
I have been told that there is an increased difficulty in filling histechnicians and histotechnologists positions by some laboratories.
My question is: does it take more time now to fill such positions than, lets say, 3 years ago?
If that is the case, approximately how much time?
I would like to find out if this is an issue mainly related to an specific area of the country.
I will really appreciate your answer.
René J.
