Vendor datasheets are the best source of information. The vast majority of clinical vendors antibodies are designed for formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue. Research vendors are all over the map and often only test by western blots or elisa so they may or may not have information about how their antibodies work in fixed tissue.

Subject: [Histonet] comprehensive list?
Hi All, Is there a comprehensive list in one location somewhere that gives information on all or most antibodies on how they work with FFPE or FS or other fixatives, so that we don't have to try to many approaches when we get a new antibody to try. Thanks, Tom T
