[Histonet] How many tissues an histo tech is suppose to cut per

To cut at this rate can cause carelessness, resulting in possible loss of specimen or tech injuries.
I'm curious about your co-workers. What is their average/hour? Unless conditions are optimal (i.e. humidity, tissue processing, good blades, etc.), this will not be an easy goal to attain.
Best of luck.

I have known one or two people who can attain this rate. However with them, it is not consistent, especially if there are any interruptions. I would take a couple of articles, especially some of Rene Buesa's authoritative articles to your management and encourage them to set realistic expectations. If your manager has any experience in histology, ask them to show you how to do it, (put them on the spot to try to meet their own goals). Good luck.
