[Histonet] CD117 - FDA APPROVED PROTOCOL

We are finding that the FDA approved protocol from Ventana does not stain some definite gi stromal tumors that stain quite well with another vendor's clone and protocol.  My pathologists are trying to decide what to do with this.   I would appreciate in hearing what kind of experience other labs have had when validating the FDA approved protocol for CD117.
