[Histonet] Her2 requests on decal specimens

I am hoping to get some guidance on this.  Occasionally we get requests to perform HER2 on specimens that have been decaled.   The revised CAP question, ANP.22998 specifically states in the notes that decalcification with strong acids should not be used.   How are other institutions handling this?
