I believe that they also need to be supervised at all times. They cannot be left unsupervised, like on weekends or evenings.
Please check this out, I know that our gross room recently had to change things due to the change in the resident rules.

A pathology resident is an MD going through his/her training to be certified as a pathologist.
Isn't that enough?

We are looking at getting a pathologist resident for the first time.
What can anyone tell me about what we need to allow him to do gross? Do
we need a certificate of any kind? Thanks and have a great day.
