The ink also stays on through decal solutions which we needed.  We do 30 bone marrows a day any system that could not stand up to decal was a no go for us.

I have the Printmate and 5 Slidemates/PSLIMs.  The hot foil tape works 
fine for us - the print is chemically resistant.  We use xylene for both 
processing and staining.

What is the opinion out there about using the "hot foil tape 
methodology?" 
Is the tape chemically resistant?
