We add 100mL of 100% alcohol to 150mL of Eosin to tone it down each day.

Subject: [Histonet] Eosin too pink

Our Pathologists have, over the last few weeks, complained that the eosin is too pink. We have not altered our procedures or reagents in any way. It seems to be particularly bad in endoscopic biopsies. Thanks
