I have "inherited" a JB-4 manual microtome that was set up for plastic sectioning. I have no manual and I am not familiar with this machine. I would like to set it up for paraffin sectioning. Does anyone still have a manual for this type of microtome? It has a knife holder for metal disposable knives but I don't know what to do about the piece/pieces that hold the paraffin block. I really need a picture or a description of how the paraffin block is to be held for sectioning. Can anyone help? Thanks.
