for those of you that use hollande sol for gI bx's do you wash the bxs before putting them in formalin? we started doing that thinking it would help. our pathologist are complaining the stain is not crisp on the gI's.  we change and rotate our stainer often.  do you run them on a short run?  I am thinking that may help.  is anyone using zinc fixative for them?
