[Histonet] Slide and Block Disposal

We do the following for slide and block disposal:

Slides are discarded into a rigid, puncture-proof biohazard sharps container and discarded with the regular trash.

All paraffin blocks are discarded into the regular trash, as well.

I believe I once read that "Joe the Toe" Nocito remarked that paraffin blocks are not hazardous (infectious) and to prove his point, he licked the block!
