[Histonet] Effects of Cytocool on IHC

I have heard not to use freezing spray on blocks/sections that are
destined for IHC but I never heard the reasoning behind this warning.
I've always steered clear of it when cutting for IHC and instead will
bury my block in the frost of our freezer until its good and cold.
Works fine.

Subject: [Histonet] Effects of Cytocool on IHC

In our lab many of the histotechs use Cytocool when cutting paraffin
blocks. Has anyone heard of this having a negative effect on IHC?
