We have 5 of the Fisher Slidemates, and I love them.  We've had some
issues with them, but I still recommend them.  The units use a ribbon to
print the information.  Our cassettes are barcoded, and the Slidemate
reads the barcode on the cassette and prints up the corresponding slide.
