[Histonet] veterinary lab question - chem expiration

What are veterinary labs (non-CAP inspected labs) setting as their expiration dates for dry and liquid chemicals that come without expiration dates on the labels?

On the Histonet I've found varying answers from human labs (5-10 yrs for dry; 1-5 yrs for liquid).  I'm in the process of setting guidelines for my labs, but want to be sure to be in agreement with other vet labs out there as well.
